Anything Else?
Bishop looks old for his age. This is partly the natural way his body has shaped itself and partially efforts he has gone to so that it is so. He wears his hair longer than most boys his age, and dresses formally in his robes even when he doesn't have to. There is an exception to this, but more on that below. His haunted blue eyes and smooth face present him as a boy who does not often laugh or smile, when in fact the opposite is true; Bishop just prefers to do such things in private.
Everything about Bishop's appearance is made to be forgotten. His height and weight are both average, he is neither strong nor weak, and there is nothing remarkable about the way he wears his hair or the type of clothes he chooses. There are a few burn marks on his arms from potions gone awry, but he keeps these constantly covered with his sleeves. One thing that Bishop has had people mention is his hands. Smooth and thin, they have often been described as perfect for the piano, though Bishop does not play. He knows what they are really for; a thief's hands.

Anything Else?
Bishop is a friendly sort of person, more comfortable with single or small groups than with large crowds, but it is hard to tell that from meeting him. The first time you may see Bishop is in the shadows - if you even see him at all - gliding along like a wraith. You may not see him again until he is right next to you, waving something he has pilfered off your person in front of your face. Having discovered at a young age that he had a talent for thievery, Bishop honed his natural skill at home until given the opportunity to train it anew at Hogwarts. He is not a mean-spirited or evil person - indeed, he will like as not return the stolen object before the victim even knows it was gone - merely someone who enjoys what he is good at.
Aside from petty theft and stealth, Bishop is a nice boy with a keen mind. He thrives on puzzles and riddles, including games like chess, which he considers fitting because of his name. He is instantly a friend to anyone with whom he can connect, and he is fiercely loyal to those he grows close to; more than willing to exploit his talents however he can to help them. He is also not above using the same to protect himself, though he has not yet hurt anyone with his stunts; indeed, the very idea of it mortifies him.
Bishop is a pure-blood, but he almost seems to forget this at times, associating with Muggle-borns and Half-bloods without the slightest thought as to status. Indeed, most times Bishop will avoid finding out the heritage of his friends if possible. This is his one exception in his ongoing quest to accumulate as much information as he can. For Bishop is also wise; he knows these are dark times, and that we must be prepared to face them.

Important Memories:
Bishop grew up with very little, aside from two loving and doting parents, who both worked but still found time for their only son.
At the age of six, Bishop began to realize the gravity of their situation. Not content with just scraping by day-to-day, the young boy began to experiment with thievery. At that age he fancied himself as a wizarding version of Robin Hood, stealing from the rich wizards he saw out and about and giving to the poor: his parents. He never told his parents about what he did, and he stole in small enough amounts that they hardly noticed. Over time, the atmosphere in the house began to brighten, and this only encouraged Bishop to get more bold in his efforts. Too bold, in fact; one day a gentleman caught him liberating someone of a Galleon, but before the police could be summoned, Bishop had vanished into the crowd. Terrified, Bishop swore off stealing forever, only to find himself right back at it the next week; his promise to himself about as permanent as one from a nine-year-old ever is.
Largely ignored by the population in general because of their income, Bishop scarcely noticed when the balance of power shifted in Lord Voldemort's favour. His parents were more on top of it however, and when an acceptance letter from Hogwarts appeared, they fought long and loud over whether or not he should be allowed to go. They had the money for once, said his father, and he should get a good schooling. His mother, on the other hand, did not want her baby boy anywhere near the dangerous followers of Lord Voldemort. Bishop ended up casting the deciding vote, putting on such a show of being the model child, cautious and clever, that his mother eventually gave in.
Anything Else?
If you went looking through the archives, it would probably come as a surprise to find that the name Darcey disappears about a hundred years ago. Bishop's ancestors had once been noble and rich pure-bloods. One particularly thick descendant, however, managed to lose most of the family's riches in a combination of drinking, gambling, and foolish ventures. Out of shame, Bishop's great-grandfather changed the family name so as not to dishonour their ancestors with the new generation's poverty.
