The extensive great hall has an enchanted ceiling that mimics the sky outside. If it is sunny then the hall is sunny, if it is cloudly then the hall reflects that to. Come here for meals and celebrations.

Transfiguration is a rather complicated class with a rather strict teacher. Start by turning matches into needles and progess to porcupines into pin cushions and desks to pigs. The more you learn the more interesting things you can do.

Sometimes the staff members need time to relax away from classes and chat amongst themselves, or even room to have a coffee and mark some homework in a setting different to their office. The staffroom and lounge is the best place to do this.

If you've been hurt or injured then you are likely on your way to the infirmary where the Hogwarts MediWitch will patch you up. Several students are regulars in this part of the castle and she may remember you just as much as you remember the blinding white roof and walls that give you a headache.

Board Description
GROUND FLOOR
The ground floor is the entrance level of the school. It contains classrooms and great hall. This floor sees a lot of activity during the day as it is also the only level you can get into the grounds of the school from. Teachers patrol these corridors at night to catch anyone sneaking outside after curfew.
